Our Vision

“Our citizenship is in heaven.”

-Philippians 3:20; Ephesians 2:19
Our Motives

Our Motives

Who you are becoming in the gospel, and how the life of the Kingdom is lived through you.

Who We Are

Spirit Filled

Citizens of heaven are filled by the Spirit, living under the reign of their King and empowered for life and witness.

Ephesians 5:18; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:25

Authentic Community

Filled by the Spirit, citizens of heaven are formed in community, secure in Christ and free to live honestly together.

Genesis 2:25; Colossians 3:9-10; James 5:16

Purpose Driven

Formed as a people, citizens of heaven are focused on what lasts, living with clarity and urgency shaped by eternity.

Ephesians 5:16; Philippians 3:14

Sacrificial Living

Focused on what lasts, citizens of heaven are freed to sacrifice, loosening their grip on what is temporary for the sake of what is eternal.

Matthew 6:19-21; Philippians 2:3-4

Kingdom Multipliers

Freed from lesser treasures, citizens of heaven are faithful stewards of what God entrusts to them, so the life of the Kingdom spreads through others.

2 Timothy 2:2

What We Do

We help people live for what matters most.

To prepare citizens for heaven by living faithfully on earth.

Philippians 3:20; Colossians 3:1-4; Titus 2:13

Our Mission

The Citizens Journey

How We Do It

Who we are shapes what we do, and the Map shows how that identity is formed in people over time.

1. Guest at Citizens

You may feel separated from God or unsure what you believe. At Citizens, you’re invited in. Our aim is simple: to help you see and know Christ through the preaching of His Word and worship with His people.

Ephesians 2:12

2. Citizen of Heaven

Through the preaching of God’s Word and worship, your faith begins to awaken. In Christ, you receive a new identity. As a citizen of heaven, joy grows in you and a desire to be part of what God is doing.

Ephesians 2:19

3. Member at Citizens

As a member at Citizens, you live as a citizen of heaven on mission. You live in community, give of yourself, and go to your neighbors.

Acts 2:42–47; Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8

4. Multiplier of Citizens

As a formed and faithful member, you are equipped and sent as a multiplier. You lead others and help multiply disciples so the life of the Kingdom spreads.

2 Timothy 2:2

Marks: How We Know We’re Doing It

A faithful Member at Citizens lives at the intersection of three biblical commitments, each with clear practices.

The Marks of Membership

Maturing in Christ by stewarding their spiritual formation through Word, Worship, and Welcome in gatherings and groups.

Ministering to the Church by giving their time, talent, and treasure to build up others.

Mission to the Community by living on mission and seeing God’s Kingdom grow from neighborhoods to nations through the next generation.
