Our Mission
Who we are shapes what we do, and the Map shows how that identity is formed in people over time.
You may feel separated from God or unsure what you believe. At Citizens, you’re invited in. Our aim is simple: to help you see and know Christ through the preaching of His Word and worship with His people.
Ephesians 2:12
Through the preaching of God’s Word and worship, your faith begins to awaken. In Christ, you receive a new identity. As a citizen of heaven, joy grows in you and a desire to be part of what God is doing.
Ephesians 2:19
As a member at Citizens, you live as a citizen of heaven on mission. You live in community, give of yourself, and go to your neighbors.
Acts 2:42–47; Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8
As a formed and faithful member, you are equipped and sent as a multiplier. You lead others and help multiply disciples so the life of the Kingdom spreads.
2 Timothy 2:2

A faithful Member at Citizens lives at the intersection of three biblical commitments, each with clear practices.
Maturing in Christ by stewarding their spiritual formation through Word, Worship, and Welcome in gatherings and groups.
Ministering to the Church by giving their time, talent, and treasure to build up others.
Mission to the Community by living on mission and seeing God’s Kingdom grow from neighborhoods to nations through the next generation.
