Citizens Church plans to launch Salt Company in August 2027 and Sunday gatherings in Fall 2027.
We are still finalizing specific dates and locations, which will be announced in early 2027.

During our pre-launch season, we will host monthly preview services beginning in June 2027 as we prepare for weekly gatherings at launch.

Citizens Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
We believe God is raising up the next generation to know, love, and follow Him—and He does that both through reaching college students and through forming children and families within the local church.
At launch, Citizens Church will provide:
- Weekly kids ministry during Sunday gatherings
- Safe, age-appropriate environments for children
- Gospel-centered teaching and trained volunteers
- Monthly family connections for new families to build relationships and belong
- Ongoing opportunities for students and parents to grow as part of the church family
As the church grows, we will continue expanding ministries that serve families well.
The name comes from Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:13: “You are the salt of the earth.”
Salt Company typically includes:
- A weekly midweek gathering with teaching and worship
- Student-led small groups meeting across campus
- Summer mission trips that send students to the nations in obedience to the Great Commission
- Fall retreats and annual conferences that catalyze spiritual growth and calling
Salt Company will be a central part of Citizens Church’s mission to reach the next generation and send leaders into the world.
Our permanent location is still to be determined as we move closer to launch.
