Membership at Citizens Church

Membership at Citizens Church is a shared commitment to follow Jesus together in a local church family.

A faithful Member at Citizens lives at the intersection of three biblical commitments:
  • Maturing in Christ — taking responsibility for personal spiritual growth
  • Ministering to the Church — taking responsibility for the growth of every member
  • Mission to the Community — taking responsibility for the growth of God’s Kingdom

Members gather, give, and go because they are being formed by these Marks.

Members pursue spiritual formation through Word, Worship, and Welcome in the gathered life of the church—and deepen that formation in groups.

We believe God matures His people through the preached Word, corporate worship, biblical community, and consistent rhythms of prayer and Scripture.

Ministering to the Church

Members actively participate in the life of the church by giving their time, talent, and treasure.

Every member is uniquely gifted for the building up of the body.

Mission to the Community

Members live on mission from their neighborhoods to the nations, through the next generation.

Through everyday faithfulness, evangelism, and a global vision, members take responsibility for the spread of the gospel.
